JAMMU, Aug 23: Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Social Security Assistant who joined EPFO, Jammu on temporary transfer from Regional Office, Goa (initially for one year) in July, 2021,processed 816 claims recently in two days with a view to helping and reducing the backlog of his colleagues.
Kumar smiled while he was asked about these remarkable feet and attributed his effort to P F Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin, whom he considers to be his mentor. The kind of workload EPFO, Jammu is handling, and the way certain impediments got cropped up in recent past, when absenteeism got suddenly increased (some of the staff member met with accidents / were suffering from ailments), Sanjeev Kumar has risen up to the occasion like a warrior and has been helping many of colleagues, despite his own work.
Similarly, Mukesh Kumar, Section Supervisor joined from RO Kolhapur, Maharashtra in July, 2021 who processed 188 claims in a single day, as a Section Supervisoris a role model for many. Despite handling work in Administration Section, he processed aforesaid claim in absence of Amit, Jakhmola, AO who was on leave.
Pramod Kumar Singh, EO/AO joined from RO Pune-I in June 2021 who processed 144 claims at SS and AO level to reducing the backlog.
Raja Sekhar Dasari, SSSA who joined RO, Srinagar from after being relieved from RO, Kadapa in July, 2021 has recently been specifically deputed at RO, Jammu to manage outstanding claims and other miscellaneous works; He processed 130 claims on a single day.
The P F Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin, while acknowledging their contribution apprised that J & and Ladakh, being his most challenging posting or him personally, where he had to put in extra hours in Office throughout the years stint in J&K and Ladakh. The Office not only demands time, but a significant amount miscellaneous activities, coordination, and facilitation at various levels.
In the circumstances, the proactive role played by these Officials not only creates positive vibes, besides providing timely relief to the needy subscribers, who prefer claims for advances and final settlements. He personally believes in volunteerism, as a significant number of subscribers got facilitated at Jammu, Srinagar and various Camp locations, where outreach Programmes were held.
