JAMMU, Feb 27: Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu Office today in collaboration with Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) organised an awareness programme ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ for industrial fraternity at BBIA Bhawan.
Rizwan Ud Din, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I; Lalit Mahajan, president BBIA; Ajay Langer, vice president; Viraaj Malhotra, general secretary; Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer; Pritpal Singh, Assistant Section Officer; Shamsher Singh, Sr. SSA and BBIA members were also present on this occasion.
Welcoming the officials of EPFO and members of industrial fraternity, Lalit Mahajan, president BBIA appreciated the steps taken by EPFO Jammu under the guidance of Rizwan Ud Din for providing best services to the registered employees of industrial fraternity and also for conducting such programmes to educate the industrial sector in respect of various schemes of EPFO which include Employees Provident Funds Scheme, 1952 (EPF), Employees Pension Scheme 1995 (EPS) and Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976 (EDLI).
Speaking on the occasion, Rizwan Ud Din apprised the stakeholders about various initiatives undertaken by EPFO under Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 such as E-Nomination, UAN Activation, KYC Updation, Aadhar Seeding, Online ECR Filling, salient features of Employees Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) Scheme 1976 and Employees Pension Scheme 1995 for registered employees and other benefits.
During discussions, the members raised numbers of issues pertaining to EPFO Office for which feedback forms were taken from the members and on spot directions were given by the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I to resolve these issues on priority.
Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer and Shamsher Singh, Sr. SSA addressed the members present in the program.
During the program, a Special Pension Help Desk was also setup for taking the grievance of Pensioners and the Pension Payment Orders (PPO) was handed over to the beneficiaries.
