NEW DELHI, May 2: Escorts Ltd Agri Machinery Segment (EAM) posted a decline of 29.3 per cent in the total sales for the month of April 2015. The company sold total 3,796 units of tractors in April 2015 as against 5,366 units in the same month previous year. Escorts sold 3,669 units in domestic sales showing a loss of 29.9 per cent in April 2015 compared to 5,236 units sold in the previous year. It showed a decline in exports of 2.3 per cent, shipping 127 units in April compared to 130 units sold in the same month previous year. Escorts Ltd is country’s one of the leading engineering conglomerates. (UNI)
