JAMMU, Nov 29: Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and Central Association of Robotics Technology (CART) Bharat today conducted a two days Electronics Systen Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) workshop at the CART Bharat Laboratory, IETE Jammu Office, TalabTillo, and Jammu.
The chief guest for the workshop was Prof Panda Shrivastav, Dean, Student Welfare, University of Jammu who appreciated the efforts of IETE for promoting technical activities for the various engineering college students.
Earlier, Dr Rakesh Vaid, Chairman IETE, Jammu Centre introduced the audience to IETE and its activities in his inaugural address. He stressed the need of skill development in our society besides formal education.
It is pertinent to mention here that IETE is India’s recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of Science, Technology, Electronics, Telecom and Information technology.
Dr Pawanesh Abrol, Coordinator, CART Bharat spoke about CART Bharat and its various domains.
Dr Parveen Lehana, Secretary, IETE Jammu Centre delivered a lecture on High Voltage Generation and control. Jang Bahadur Singh and Er Sonakshi Sharma assisted in the conduct of the workshop.
