JAMMU, May 7: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with Legends Dance today presented Vijay Malla’s new progressive nukkad “Apna Haath Jagarnath” under its Monday Theatre Series at Talab Tillo, Jammu.
The nukkad educates that initiative for any kind of reform in the locality and society should be taken by us rather than wait for any miracle from authorities. We can call it in our language “Shrramdhan”. If we will take such kind of initiatives from ourselves it will be blessing for the betterment of our society.
In the nukkad, Ashok and Shanta are two students of Nationa Scouts where they are trained well how to initiate any work themselves. They say that they should not be dependable on the mercy of others.
They invite all walks of people and form a welfare committee to solve all problems related to society as well as locality. They ask people that at least they can keep clean their own house and their mohalla, which can set an example for others.
Finally they choose some elders and young to form a welfare committee which can give a new direction to the welfare of locality and society.
Actors who performed in the nukkad were were Ashok Sharma, Raju Mad, Shelly, Shahid, Harsh Gupta and Vijay Malla. This nukkad was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
