JAMMU, Feb 13: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented Vijay Malla’s Nukkad “Ek Achha Khwaab” under its Monday Theatre series at Pacca Talab near Rehari Chungi here.
“Ek Achha Khwaab” is based on those children who cannot afford education though their dreams are big. Unfortunately due to their poor economic conditions they are helpless.
Ramu, son of a labourer is intelligent and capable in studies but he can make it possible in difficult conditions. He realizes that meagre income of his father is not sufficient. For that in the evening hours he visits local bus stand and sells candles to the passengers. Ramu earns that much which can meet his education expenses. Suraj his close friend is also son of a petty labor and can hardly meet his both ends.
Ramu relates a beautiful dream, he has seen, to his friend Suraj.
Dream is that Ramu sees a big seminar organized where a large number are students are present, and Ramu is declared as a best student of the year.
Suraj is very much impressed by this dream and suggests Ramu why not to start such a mission for educating poor children free of cost. There are so many children who are deprived of education because of poverty.
Now Ramu and Suraj start Mission Education for poor and needy deprived children whose dreams and very high. They convey their mission to the people who can be helpful to their goal by donating books stationery bags and other necessary things
A large number of people witnessed the play which was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
Those who performed in Nukkad included Master Ayush, Master Rahul, Kumari Parul, Ashok Sharma, Mrs Kanta Sharma, Munish Kerni, Raju Mad, Mohit and Vijay Malla.
