ESRM presents ‘Humey Bhi Kuch Chahiye’

JAMMU, July 9: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in close collaboration with Rangshala today staged a satire comedy play ‘Humey Bhi Kuch Chahiye’ here at KL Saigal Hall, Abhinav Theatre.
Prof Keshav Sharma (Registrar, Jammu University) was the chief guest on the occasion while Vivek Shekher Sharma, SDPO City North (JAMMU) was guest of honour.
The play was directed by Anuroop Pathania and written by Vijay Malla. ‘Humey Bhi Kuch Chahiye’ is demand of our young generation without knowing their existence.
This satire comedy starts with an aggressive song against our working culture in day to day life. There is an argument in between Time and young generation.
A house lady is eagerly waiting for thieves to come with welcome. Then there is public leader who is comparing his qualities and status with Lord Krishna.
Finally in the end of the play, an old man describes his country as declining as respect, culture, languages, traditions and principles among youth is not visible. The play ends with most popular song ‘Jago Bandhu Jago Bhaiya’.
Actors who performed in the play were Prabal Sharma, Kuldeep Raj, Mohit Chargotra, Rahul Dev, Akash Abrol, Vidhushi Sharma and Anuroop Pathania.
Invisible different characters were played by Vijay Malla himself.
