JAMMU, June 24: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented it’s 357th Monday Theatre with new awareness Nukad on drug addiction.
Under the theme “Nasha Bagao Desh Bachao” sponsored by Pagyal Group of Companies the Nukad was presented at Trikuta Nagar Jammu under Monday Theatre Series.
Drug abuse is emerging fast among the youth in the society which is fatal and dangerous for the State and nation as a whole. It is observed that the young generation is trapped easily in this abuse without knowing it’s repercussions and bad results. The State of J&K is also in the grip of this menace which is disastrous for it and it’s future. Story begins with a desperate young boy is trapped by drug mafia. Today’s Nukad started with slogans like “Nasha Bhagao Desh Bachao”. Drug mafia is distributing drugs among youth. Malang (a mystic saint) plays an important role in giving positive message to the parents including Luckma who is brain behid drug addiction among youth. He Says that her husband has got reward for what he gave to innocent youth. Luckma confessed his mistakes and assured that he will not indulge in such activities in future rather will work for the social cause, welfare of society. Lucma’s wife along her son reveals that his own son has also developed habit of drugs. She is weeping and pleading everyone to save her son. Finally Luckma is caught by Malang and thrashed by him that why he is destroying the youth. On the other side parents of the boy are searching and are guided by saintly Malang who is on a mission to destroy drug abuse among youth.
Prominent among the people who witnessed this Nukad were Director Pagyal Groups Atul Pagyal and Avinash Vassan, Avisor to Pagyal Group.
Cooperator of this area Pritam Singh was the chief guest who appreciated the efforts of the organization.
Actors who acted in the play were Kanta Sharma, Happy Gupta, Raju Mad, Seema Dogra, Shally, Gautam, Abhishek and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
