JAMMU, Sept 25: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) today presented its 260th Monday Theatre with Vijay Malla’s Nukkad “Ravan Abhi Zinda Hai” at Pacca Talab Park near Rehari Chungi Jammu.
Ravan was killed because of his sinful acts, maltreatment, unnatural behaviour, stupidness, greed, intense desireand false fascination. Ram killed this demon for his mis-deeds but still such kind of evil is existing in our society, that is why we kill him again and again on every Dussehra. The story reflects to the recent killing of a school boy Pruduman who was murdered brutally by ‘Ravan” who is still living among us. The issue was under discussion that how our society should change such kind of mentality prevailing in so many Ravans. An elderly person describes such cruel lunatic person who killed Pruduman as a symbol of Ravan. He says though Ravan was killed in Ramayan Yug, yet he is alive in this era in the shape of evils. He puts a question as to when Ravan was killed who are the people indulging in rapes, terrorism, corruption and cheating innocent persons. A large number of people witnessed the Nukkad and appreciated the message contained in it besides applauding the performance of actors who included Payal, Raju Mad, Ashok Sharma, Mohit, Harsh, Vipin, Dheeraj, Shiv, Kanav, Ehsan-ul-Haq and Vijay Malla. The Nukkad was written and directed by Vijay Malla.
