JAMMU, Oct 6: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with BLSKS today presented Vijay Malla’s new Hindi nukkad ‘Hinsa Sey Murjhaey Phool’ in its Monday Theatre series here at Municipal Park, Paka Talab near Rehari Chungi.
The nukkad educates that violence is not a solution to any problem and it never ends in progress. Violence adversely affects the growth of our young generation and therefore people should not indulge in violence for their petty interests.
The story of the nukkad opens with two groups indulging in violence for their land. One group believes in muscle power and uses its strength while the other group believes in non-violence and tries its best to pacify other group but the first group is bent on violence.
Finally an elderly man from the locality intervenes and tries to convince the violent group to shun their attitude of violence and live with peace. He gives various examples from the life of Mahatma Gandhi to pacify the violent group.
The elderly man described the nation as a garden which is full of beautiful flowers and may get destroyed by violent acts of man.
The artists who acted in the play were Raj, Quaret-ul-Ain, Gopal Verma, Addison and Vijay Malla.
