JAMMU, Oct 6: ESRM in collaboration with BLSKS today presented Vijay Malla’s play “Jo Tun Laage, Sao Tun Janey’ under its Monday Theatre series.
The play is based on the handicapedness of labour class families whose male members earn and spend on boozing and gambling.
The play is full of messages for those who are trapped by such addiction. Play explains how these people loose their health wealth and happiness. How such addictions create domestic fights and quarrels as well make future of their school going children dark.
This play also encourages housewives to take strong initiatives with major moves for protest. Anti addiction campaign by women folk of such sick families will create a realization among their male members who indulge in boozing and gambling, the play explains.
This play was witnessed by large number of people living in labour colonies and around who appreciated the efforts of ESRM.
Chairman ESRM Vijay Malla assured the people that such plays will be presented everywhere around the city where such kind of evils are emerging in the society. Prominent among those who witnessed the play, included Ajay Koul, Bal Ram, Asha Rani, Thakur Das, Sham Lal, Koshalya Devi, Uttam Kumar, Asha Rani, Rohit, Sonu and Subhash. K K Joshi, senior artist of BLSKS was the chief guest .
Actors who took part in the play, were Anuroop Pathania, Qurat-ul-Ain, Laksh Bali, Rakesh Katoch, Nazuk and Vijay Malla. Music was composed and designed by Raju Bajghal .
This play was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania.
