JAMMU, Apr 26: Former Minister and General Secretary, Pradesh Congress Committee Dr Manohar Lal today demanded establishment of AIIMS in Jammu.
In a statement issues, Dr Manohar Lal said that the people of Jammu do suffer in absence of appropriate treatment here and have to travel Delhi and other parts of the Country for advanced treatment.
He added that there is a prime need to set up an AIIMS in Jammu as its poor and hapless people can not afford to go to New Delhi for seeking the specialized treatment.
