JAMMU, Nov 4: Intensifying political campaign, District Rural president, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and party candidate for Marh constituency, Suram Singh today chaired a workers meet at Marh constituency, wherein he asked party workers to intensify the activities on ground level and to establish constructive contact with general masses.
Addressing the workers and party supporters in the meeting, Suram said, “We are focusing on Jammu division. The seats from the region will be crucial to our attempt to form next Government”. He said the party has learnt from 2002 and 2008 Assembly elections that it was not possible to form Government without gaining seats from Jammu.
Suram further said that the response of the people towards his party was good and the PDP hoped to revise its tally upwards in the region.
