JAMMU, July 13: All J&K Estate Employees’ Association today discussed their burning demands in its executive body meeting held under the chairmanship of its president, Tilak Raj.
The participants demanded re-organization of Estate Department as the work load has increased upto 75% and regularization/promotion to all categories of employees including Plumber, Electrician, Mason, Carpenter, painter, etc. as they all are suffering badly for want of promotion due to non-conduct of DPC in time.
The members also reiterated for implementation of SRO 43 in letter and spirit without any further delay, regularization of all daily wagers eligible under this SRO, considering 2 ½ days salary for all categories of employees, time bound promotion to all eligible employees and planning of a guest house of the Department for Jammu and Srinagar to provide protocol to the guests.
All the participants unanimously decided that all the demands of the Association should be put forth before Advisor to Governor for Estate Department for early redressal.
