Estates Deptt employees to protest tomorrow

JAMMU, Oct 5: The Co-ordination Committee of Estates Department Employees Union held a meeting and decided to hold two hours protest demonstration on October 7 in front of the office of Executive Engineer Estates Division Jammu in favour of their demands.
The members said that the administration of Estates Department has failed to implement the agreed demands of the employees, which they agreed in a meeting held between Director Estates J&K and the representatives of the Union.
The speakers demanded implementation of transfer policy and immediate transfer the over stayed employees those are sitting in the department since decades and immediate transfer of Daljeet Singh, Telephone Operator.
They also demanded re-organization of Estates Department, regularization of daily rated workers, release of wages in favour of casual and Need bases workers, provision of two and half day additional pay and issuance of appointment orders under SRO-43.
“Construction of building for housing the office of Deputy Director Estates near the office of the Executive Engineer Estates Division Jammu, change of recruitment rules and release order of time bound promotion in favour of those employees who were left in a last order and also issue correction orders in the grade of time bound promotion, they also demanded.
The members of the co-ordination committee who were present in the meeting were Prem Singh Baba, Yash Paul Sharma, Baljit Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Puran Chand, Tilak Raj, Subash Chandar, Rash Paul Lal, Sagar Massi, Ravi Sharma, Mohindar Pal, Kuldeeep Raj, Ram Chand, Jeet Raj, Mulkh Raj, Satish Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Rattan Lal, Parshotam Kumar, etc.
