JAMMU, Dec 22: Esther William, Principal of Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School, Residency Road Jammu, has been awarded with the prestigious ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Award’ for meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role in society.
Esther William, daughter of Rev J N Noel and wife of Johnny William (IGP-Retd), did her Masters in English and B Ed from Punjab University. She has a brilliant academic career, She has taught in St Thomas School Ludhiana as well as St Peters School Jammu before heading Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School since 1989.
She has been on various management committees of different schools. She is also associated with social work, specially related to children and women of the differently abled people.
