SRINAGAR, Oct 17: Eterno Infotech Pvt Ltd, the owner of the popular media platforms Dailyhunt, Josh, and OneIndia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP).
Under the MoU, Eterno Infotech Pvt Ltd owned media platforms will share the stories of the valour, sacrifices, and good works of the Jammu and Kashmir Police with the people all across the country.
The MoU signing ceremony, held at the Police Headquarters in Srinagar, was presided over by the Director General of Police, J&K, Dilbag Singh. Key officials present at the event included ADGP Headquarters/ Coordination, MK Sinha; Executive Director of Eterno Infotech Pvt Ltd, N Ravanan, and several other officers.
Dilbag Singh expressed his gratitude to the team at Eterno Infotech Pvt Ltd for joining hands with J&K Police. He emphasized the importance of sharing the success stories of the Jammu and Kashmir Police with the nation.
“The force is known for its valour and sacrifices, and showcasing these stories to a broader audience will serve as a morale booster,” he said.
The DGP recalled an occasion when Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his desire to have films made about the dedication and courage of J&K Police.
“With the MoU signed with these media platforms, the stories of J&K Police can now reach the people of India in a fitting manner,” he said while urging the officers on the ground to provide success stories regularly to these platforms.
ADGP MK Sinha thanked Eterno Infotech Pvt Ltd for their collaboration, noting that the Jammu and Kashmir Police, known for its commitment and dedication to the nation’s sovereignty and integrity, often lack the time to share its work with the people.
“With the development of the new Jammu and Kashmir, it’s a crucial time to highlight the untold stories and sacrifices of the police force,” Sinha said.
N Ravanan, Executive Director of Eterno Infotech, expressed his pride in collaborating with J&K Police. He emphasized the responsibility to share the stories of the police force’s remarkable work in building the nation and the new Jammu and Kashmir.
AIG Communication PHQ, Manoj Kumar Pandit, briefly explained the various media projects undertaken by Jammu and Kashmir Police with different partners to showcase their bravery, sacrifices, and commitment to the world.
