ETT Institutes Association accuses BOSE of misleading

JAMMU, Oct 27: Jammu Private Schools and ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) has accused the J&K Board of School Education of misleading on the number of ETT institutes in J&K.
As per BOSE version, there were only 211 ETT colleges in existence and out of those 160 had not applied for NOC renewal whereas remaining 51 are eligible for the course whereas, misquoting rather a white lie of BOSE e was fully exposed when a supplementary list of 35 ETT colleges was uploaded at its website yesterday, said the Association president Deep Singh.
He said that during the year 2003-05, more than 450 NOCs in Jammu division and more than 80 in Kashmir division were issued by the State Government to different institutions for running the ETT course.
