EV-maker Word Wizard Innovations expands product range with 5 new models

MUMBAI, Dec 14: Gujarat-headquartered electric vehicle manufacturer Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility expanded its product portfolio under the Joy-e-rik and Joy-e-bike business by launching five new models, including a high-speed e-scooter Nemo.

Of other four models, two are electric three-wheelers and two electric rickshaws to cater to both passenger and cargo segments, the company said at the launch here in Mumbai on Saturday.

Nemo is designed for urban roads and offers three drive modes — eco, sport, and hyper.

The e-scooter is equipped with a 72V, 40Ah lithium-ion (NMC) battery with Smart BMS for extended life and performance, the company said.

The passenger segment e-three-wheeler Joy-e-rick is equipped with a 10.24 kw Lithium-ion battery and comes with a top speed of 50 km and has a range of 150 km on a full charge, as per the company.

“Our new models, under both business verticals, mark a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing India’s transition to green and eco-friendly mobility,” its chairman and managing director Yatin Gupte said.

The company also said it is expecting total sales of up to 42,000 units this fiscal.

“Three-wheeler sales, we are expecting, to contribute 30-35 percent in our overall vehicle sales,” Akhtar Khatri, director for Sales and Strategy, told reporters at the launch.

Of this, as much as 35,000-40,000 would be two-wheelers and 2,000 three-wheelers, he added. (UNI)
