JAMMU, Oct 5: J&K Govt Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee (EWJAC) has urged upon the State authorities to remove the pay anomalies of clerical cadre and release 6 % DA installment in favour of employees and pensioners.
In a meeting of the JAC held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, senior members of the committee, the members including Yash Paul Sharma, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, Bharat Bhushan and others criticized the State Government for causing delay in resolving their issues. They demanded that long pending issues of the clerical cadre and other employees be addressed.
Besides removal of pay anomalies, they also demanded enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, release of 6 % DA installment merger of 50 % DA into basic pay and regularization of daily rated/ casual and need base workers.
