JAMMU, Jan 28: Housing and Urban Development Department today placed a former Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) employee under suspension.
“Pending enquiry into his conduct and in terms of Rule 31(1) of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, Wahid Ali Sodagar, then I/c Assistant Town Planner, Srinagar Development Authority is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect,” read an order.
During suspension, the order said, Sodagar shall remain attached in the office of the Vice Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority.
Pertinently, the matter (suspension of the Wahid Ali Sodagar) was considered in the General Administration Department and the competent authority accordingly approved the departmental proposal of placing him under suspension with immediate effect, pending enquiry, with a view to initiate RDA against him as directed in terms of a previous GAD order dated November 15, 2022.
