Bhalla’s kin also embraces party

JAMMU, Sept 15: The BJP today got a big boost in RS Pura, Jammu South constituency as former BDC Chairman, Dalip Kumar and several former Sarpanchs and Panchs of RS Pura along with their supporters joined the party.
The Union Minister and J&K Election Incharge, G Kishan Reddy, BJP working president, Sat Sharma, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and BJP national secretary and party candidate from Jammu South, Narinder Singh Raina, chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi and media Incharge, Dr. Pradeep Mahotra welcomed the new entrants in the party during a programme organised at BJP Media Center, here today.
While speaking on the occasion, former BDC Chairman, Dalip Kumar said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has a long-term vision for J&K and the country as well.
“We are nationalist people and have decided to join the BJP as it puts national interest first and works for the welfare of the people irrespective of caste and religion,” he said.
Brother of Cong candidate from Jammu South, Vinod Bhalla also joined the BJP on the occasion. He said, “I am a nationalist person and only BJP is the party which keeps national interest above all,” he said.
Amid raising of slogans like ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai,’ BJP Zindabad-,’ Dalip Kumar, former Sarpanchs, Panchs and their supporters pledged support to the BJP and vowed to work hard for BJP’s success in the Assembly election.
Ajay Kumar, Congress OBC Cell convener, former Sarpanch, Des Raj, former Deputy Sarpanch, Amirjit Singh, former Sarpanch, Sukhdev Singh, former Panch, Naresh Kumar, Yashpal, ex-Sarpanch, Tilak Raj, Bachan Lal and Ranjit Singh were among those who joined the BJP.
