JAMMU, June 28: Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association has reiterated its “One Rank, One Pension” and other allied demands and urged the Union Government to concede the same at the earliest. Retired Sessions Judge Pavittar Singh was also present on the occasion.
Talking to media persons at a press conference, association general secretary Darshan Kumar Bhagat said, “We are holding the same weapons, facing first bullet, first stone and never withdraw making sacrifices daily then why this discrimination with rank and file of Ex-Central paramilitary Forces personnel?
Demanding regular pension at par with retired defence forces, the association also demanded revision of pension and said that it should be systematically revised.
The association also took serious note of some former office bearers still collecting money on the name of association despite the fact that all the bodies of the association from block to district level stand dissolved. They warned them legal action if they did not mend their ways.
Others present in the press conference included Kamal Choudhary, S K Sharma, Katoch, S Dalip Singh, S Dogra, S Mohinder Singh, Janak Raj etc.
