JAMMU, Aug 30: The Mining Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the suspension of former District Mineral Officer (DMO) of Kathua district.
“Bodh Raj, Driller, ex-District Mineral Officer (DMO), Kathua is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956,” read an order issued by the Mining Department.
“During the period of suspension, the order said, the suspended officer shall remain attached in the Administrative Department i.e. Mining Department,” added the order.
