JAMMU, Feb 14: Former Deputy Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly and NC’s Provincial vice president from Jammu, Ghulam Hyder Malik hailing from Bani area of district Kathua today resigned from the basic membership of the party.
In his resignation letter, forwarded to the National Conference president, the copy of which was also mailed to the Excelsior, Hyder Malik cited some surprising reasons for his decision to leave the party. Hyder alleged that after entrance of some sycophants in the party cadre and due to their dictatorial and misbehaving attitude towards seniors and the party delegates, he felt suffocated and decided to leave the party.
Malik further said that by ignoring local NC’s Block Committee, a non-local candidate is being projected for the upcoming elections from Bani, who has already been ousted and rejected by the Congress Party. The JKNC has been losing its social base, faith among the people and party cadre in the area. Under such circumstances, he after discussing issue with his committee decided to quit, Mailk maintained.
