JAMMU: Government said today that a proposal for grant of Rs 1 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the next of kin of Kuldeep Singh of Paddar, who died while crossing Sazar Nallah in Kishtwar, was under examination.
Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, informed the Legislative Council that a proposal for a grant of Rs 1 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Singh’s son was under examination.
He was replying, on behalf of the Minister Incharge, Home, to a Calling Attention Notice moved by the MLC, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo. (AGENCIES)
