Among the 40 martyrs of the recent Pulwama fidayeen attack was one such martyr from Jammu and Kashmir, Head Constable Naseer Ahmed hailing from District Rajouri. While no amount of money could precisely price the valour and the ultimate martyrdom of a brave heart, nevertheless due respect and reverence for as also indebtedness of the grateful people make their martyrdom immortal . However, helping the families financially and looking after their genuine needs too becomes the duty of the Government and the society.
Governor Satya Pal Malik has, accordingly announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs. 20 lacs to the next of the kin of the martyred lion hearted jawan of the CRPF. Besides praying for eternal peace to the departed soul, Governor expressed deep sympathy to and solidarity with the family members of the martyr. On the directives of the Governor, top bureaucrats of the State Administration also visited the 92-Base Army Hospital to enquire about the well being of the injured CRPF personnel. Excelsior wishes them speedy recovery and the injured CRPF personnel ought to be extended full support from the State Government.
