Ex-MLA leads protest against BJP’s policies

RAMBAN, Sept 23: Ashok Kumar, former MLA from Ramban launched a strong protest against the LG Administration today at Maitra, Ramban district headquarters regarding anti-people policies of BJP Government.
In a statement issued here, Ashok expressed serious concern over the frequent electricity cuts, non- availability of clean and drinking water, unemployment among the youths. He raised several current issues regarding the people of Ramban.
Ex-MLA further stated that due to lack of proper representation of people, there is a huge gap between common people and Government. This needs to be filled immediately or else people will lose trust with the Government. He demanded immediate assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir so that the political aspirations of the people can be fulfilled.
Ashok further demanded clean and drinking water supply at every household in Ramban as people are deprived of basic amenities. He also demanded CBI inquiry in recent scam in Jal Shakti Department so that people get proper justice.
