UDHAMPUR, Jan 24: In the wake of death of ten children due to mysterious disease in Ramnagar Medical block, former MLA and president of District Congress Committee, Krishan Chander Bhagat today visited the Sub-District Hospital Ramnagar and enquired about the patients undergoing treatment there.
Mr Bhagat came to know that there was shortage of Surgeon at the hospital. He appealed the administration to ensure immediate posting of a Surgeon and also a Child Specialist at the SDH Ramnagar.
Accompanied by Councilor Sanjeev Jandial, Joginder Bangathia, Congress Seva Dal State Secy Abhay Pratap and others, the former MLA also visited the parents of deceased children and expressed his grief over the demise of their loved ones.
Mr Bhagat appealed the Government to provide some financial relief to the affected families and ensure best possible treatment to those admitted in the hospital.
