Ex-MLC alleges shortage of ration

Jammu, Apr 13: Chief spokesman, PCC Ravinder Sharma-(Ex-MLC) has lashed out at the State Government for failure to provide free ration to the people affected by the rains and floods in September last and also non-availability of adequate quantity of APL ration in Sunderbani tehsil of district Rajouri.
Mr Sharma  was apprised this by the public and party workers during his visit of the area on Sunday. He interacted with people and took stock of the problems of the people.
This meeting was presided over by Shamsher Singh-(Sarpanch) president BCC and attended by prominent workers.
The non-availability of ration in the area has caused great hardships to the people. The crops have been damaged totally and the Government has failed to assess the loss and announce the relief for the farmers.
He urged the Government to announce relief for the farmers by waiving off agriculture loans, free ration for six months and financial assistance for fodder of animals, besides provision of subsidized seed and fertilizer for next crops.
