Ex-MLC starts lane-drain work

JAMMU, Aug 28: Ex-MLC and J&K BJP secretary, Ch. Vikram Randhawa along with Tirath Kour, Councillor Ward 58 here today started lane-drain work at Dashmesh Nagar in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment.
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa said that providing basic facilities and infrastructure is the core priority of BJP and a sustained developmental plan is being executed to make Gandhi Nagar a developed and model constituency.
He said that BJP will win the hearts of the people through development.
The BJP leader said in past the legislators use to develop particular areas only for petty vote banks but now each and every corner of Gandhi Nagar is being developed on priority irrespective of caste, colour and creed.
“We are committed to bring all round development of all the underdeveloped hamlets and after identification of underdeveloped areas developmental works are being executed”, Randhawa maintained.
He said that construction of lane and drain in this particular area was a long pending demand of the people which now has been fulfilled and assured that other public demands would also be fulfilled soon.
JE (JMC) along with his team was also present on the occasion.
Those who accompanied Randhawa were Paramjit Singh (Ex-Councillor), Harbans Singh, Dilar Singh, Magat Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Pupinder Singh and others.
