Ex-MP kick starts lane work at Bishnah

JAMMU, Apr 29: Former Member-Parliament (Rajya Sabha) & Ex-State President Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir, Shamsher Singh Manhas today started the construction work of lane & drain at Ward number 03 in Bishnah.
Speaking on the occasion, Manhas informed that the work will be completed at the cost of Rs 6.75 rupees, which were released through his MPLADs. Manhas said after completion of this work, residents of the area will have a sigh of relief from water logging during rainy season.
Manhas said that the BJP Government led by Narendra Modi has given a new direction to the country. He said that the main objective of the BJP is to ensure the development works in every region equally with complete sincerity and the BJP Government has worked on the basic principle of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’. “There was competition for corruption in previous Governments. But ever since the Narendra Modi Government came to the center, there has been competition for development”, he added.
The MP was accompanied by Councilor Dharminder Kumar who said that like support in recently concluded DDC elections, the people should extend their support in the upcoming Assembly elections so that benefits of the development and public welfare schemes by the Modi Government continue to pour in.
Those who were present on the occasion, included Raj Singh, Narain Dutt Sharma, Kulveer Chib, Sarpanch Surinder Singh & Rajesh Bhagat.
