He advised them to approach the Deputy Commissoner, Samba for Rajinder Vihar Colony (village Patti) and Deputy Commissioner Jammu for Kargil Vihar (village Barn)for expediting the land acquisition process and handing over the land so that the plots can be registered in the names of the allottes who have already paid for them.
The Ex-Servicemen members of the Housing Colonies were agitated for the delay in processing and acquisition of land for the Soldiers, Ex-Servicemen and the Widows. They pointed out that there is no link road to reach the Colony so that they could carry their belongings etc to the Colony area. In this regard they wanted immediate opening of the road from Aadarsh College to Rajinder Vihar passing under the Railway Bridge on Patti Khud. At the same time they pointed out that link between the Jakh – Suchani road and the Colony Office was also not through as the acquisition by the Deputy Commissioner Samba is still under process.
