MENDHAR, Sept 11: Ex-servicemen of Mendhar area today held protest against the Chief Manager and staff of the State Bank of India (SBI) here today.
Led by the local unit head of the Ex-servicemen Association Shamim Ahmed, the ex-servicemen held protest for about half an hour outside the local SBI branch for non-cooperation and poor services being provided to the customers. They also alleged that behavior of the staff was also not cooperative. Later, they marched towards the office of Tehsildar Mendhar and submitted a memorandum to him in this regard. They alleged that ex-servicemen visit this branch for pension matters and they are ill-treated and not provided good services by staff. Tehsildar Mendhar assured to take up the issue with the higher authorities of the Bank in the region.
