JAMMU, Aug 5: Natrang Jammu is going to coordinate and conduct auditions in Jammu for a Bollywood film.
This was informed here today by Natrang Director Balwant Thakur in a press briefing at Natrang Studio Theatre.
Giving details Balwant Thakur informed that Dharma Productions (Director Karan Johar) has approached Natrang to coordinate and conduct auditions for their forthcoming film “Battle of Saragardhi “. The film is based on a real story of 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment in 1897 (currently the 4th Sikh Regiment) who gave up their lives in devotion to their duty, who were stationed at an army post Khyber Pass, in Afghanistan and were attacked by around 10,000 Afghans.
The production house requires male artists (Afghan Look) between the age of 35 to 55 years and a female artist (Afghan look) between the age of 22 to 25 years and who play opposite Akshay Kumar. Balwant Thakur further informed that the auditions will be held in Natrang on August 9 and prior to that all the interested may register their names with Natrang.
