KATHUA, May 25: Excise Sleuths of Kathua range today destroyed one working still and more than 1200 kilograms of lahan, raw material for illicit liquor which is highly hazardous and injurious for health during the raid in the villages of Buddhi and Kangdyal areas of Kathua district to arrest the menace of illicit distillation of liquor.
The raids were conducted on the directions of the Excise Commissioner Mohammad Javed Khan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Ghanshyam Singh by the Excise Team Kathua led by ETO Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta & Inspector Excise Arun Kumar.
