JAMMU, Dec 31: All JK Excise State Taxes Employees Welfare Society and Allied Association led by its President Retd DC Excise Vijay Sharma met the Farooq Khan, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor J&K and apprised him of various problems being faced by the employees and pensioners in the UT of J&K.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said most of the orders have been issued by State Government in the interest of employees but most of the benefits were still lacking behind and needs Government’s consideration.
Allied Association representative Retd SE Rup Krishan Matto demanded revival of Insurance Scheme and issuance of medical cards at par with Central Government employees.
Chief Advisor of Society Gold Medalist Retd DC Excise BS Mastana demanded enhancement in medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per months.
Advisor gave patient hearing to the deputation and issued on spot instructions of some of demands within the purview of his domain. “I was himself an employee in J&K and I am well versed with the employees’ problems”, he said and assured to do the needful.
Secretary General of the Society KS Arora expressed gratitude to Advisor for spearing his valuable time to listen the issues of the employees.
