NEW DELHI: A dedicated website for aspirants seeking recruitment in border guarding force ITBP was launched here today.
The website is the first-ever initiative by any paramilitary force in the country to help young men and women gain entry in central forces working under the command of the Union Home Ministry.
The 70,000 personnel strong Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) force is tasked to secure the 3,488-km long Sino-Indian frontier apart from rendering various duties in the internal security and anti-Naxal operations domain of the country.
The website–http://www.Recruitment.Itbpolice.Nic.In– was launched by force chief Krishna Chaudhary at its headquarters here and it provides information about the maximum number of career opportunities in the force, vacancies, pay scales and results and other relevant subjects.
“Online applications for various posts can also be submitted through this portal in an easy manner. The attempt has been to keep the website user-friendly,” ITBP spokesperson Vivek Pandey said. (AGENCIES)
