JAMMU, Aug 1: On day-2 of the ongoing multi-media exhibition today organized by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting on theme Viksit Bharat, Mission Life, Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, EBSB, SBA, PM Ujjwala Yojana and other allied themes of Government of India, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, DDC, Sunderbani was chief guest.
The exhibition was organised at Radha Krishan Mandir near Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Sunderbani.
Ghulam Abbas, Director CBC and PIB J&K presided over the function along with faculty the School, Staff of CBC J&K and others.
Rajinder Kumar Sharma, DDC, Sunderbani said that CBC’s programmes serve as a bridge for information between government and common masses.
Ghulam Abbas, Director, CBC & PIB, J&K in his address said that CBC has the mandate of disseminating information and awareness among common masses in rural as well as urban areas.
“CBC uses exhibition, cultural programmes, seminars, expert lectures, competitions etc to aware masses about various schemes,” he maintained advising the students to avail benefits of Government schemes.
Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion were Gitika, Panchayat Secretary, Ramesh Kumar, Community Health Officer, Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Department of Animal Husbandry and Ashwani Salathia, Agriculture Department, Sunderbani.
All the resource persons gave a detailed overview of various centrally sponsored schemes related to their respective departments.
Students of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Sunderbani also participated in the function.
A mesmerizing theme based cultural programme by artists of CBC enthralled the audience.
