Jammu, Jan 30: Under the aegis of PoJK Visthapit Sewa Samiti J&K, a meeting was convened in the office of the Samiti at Ved Mandir complex in which various issues pertaining to Pojk displaced persons were discussed.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Deepak Kapoor and Arun Chowdhary (president and general secretary of Samiti) who appealed to the administration to resolve various land allotment issues of the community regarding regularisation of their colonies, ownership rights, evacuee/custodian property rights to displaced persons of 1947 PoJK and also West Pakistan Refugees of 1965 and 1971.
Further it was impressed upon to speed up the process of domicile certificate issuance to PoJK displaced persons settled outside J&k by Relief and Rehabilitation commissioner along with expediting the process of providing Rs. 5.50 lakh cash relief to left out families settled within J&K. The meeting was attended by all executive members and advisors of the Samiti
