Expedite process of transferring land: AOI

JAMMU, Sept 25: Association of Industries (AOI), Balol Estate, Bari Brahmana has urged the Administration to expedite the process related to transferring of land earmarked for establishment of industries in the area.
Talking to media-persons here today, Rakesh Sharma, president of the Association of Industries, Balol Estates extended gratitude to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and his administration for taking initiative related to delineation of Gair Mumkin Khud land measuring 3278.5 M falling under Khasra Numbers- 3025/1845 /1734, 3026/1845 /1734, 3027/1845 /1734 and 3028/1845/1734 declaring the same as `Banjar Qadeem’ for the purpose of recording entries in Revenue records, outside Gair Mumkin Khud, Choi etc.
AOI president further commended the UT administration for resolving the long pending demand of the people and hoped that with this bold initiative Industrial sector will definitely get a boost in the UT of J&K. It will also provide employment to the aspiring youth and increase the revenue of the UT Government.
Sharma urged the UT Administration to expedite the process of transferring land earmarked for establishment of Industry so as to enable investors to make their industrial units operational which would ultimately provide employment to the local youth.
The Association members also extended gratitude to Chief Secretary, Revenue Secretary, Secretary Industries and Commerce, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, District Administration Samba and MD SIDCO for taking keen interest in resolving the issue of great public importance.
Senior members, Amerjeet Singh, Vikas Dubey, Vinod Kumar, Harshvardhan Singh, Raghav Sareen, Jansher Khan and others were also present during conference.
