BANIHAL, Apr 11: NC district president Ramban, Mir Sajjad Shaheen has expressed concern over the continuous blockade of Khari-Mahu road caused by landslide and sinking of a portion of road at Nachlana near NH44 last week.
Shaheen said, due to the blockade of the only road linking entire Khari tehsil with rest of the district the mobility has been badly impacted and miseries of the people in the area have increased.
He said that the road restoration work is going at a snail pace which needs to be expedited.
The NC leader said that the concerned agencies must formulate a comprehensive plan of construction of a permanent bridge or flyover at the sinking portion as people are facing enormous problems due to frequent closure of the only link road connecting the area with rest of the district.
