Experts sensitize students of SKUAST-J on AI & Machine learning

JAMMU, July 25: National Agricultural Higher Education Project-Institutional Development Project (NAHEP-IDP) at SKUAST-Jammu organized one day workshop on “Digital Tools in Academics”, here today for the students of the university.
Prof Anil Kumar Sharma, Dean Faculty of Agriculture & Registrar SKUAST-Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion. He highlighted the importance of digital tools in academics which had transformed the traditional learning environment, enabling educators to enhance teaching methods and offer students more engaging and personalized learning experiences.
The expert lectures were delivered by the eminent experts from USA, Central University of Jammu and Jammu University. Utkarsh Tripathi, Engineer & Researcher from Chicago, USA, delivered lecture on artificial intelligence and machine learning and data analysis. Dr Deepti Malhotra from Central University of Jammu delivered lecture on “Education Application of Artificial Intelligence Tools” while Dr Shubnandan Jamwal, from Jammu University delivered talk on “Online Tools and Technologies in Education, Dr. Palak Mahajan from Central University of Jammu delivered talk on ” Learning Data Analytics using Python & Assistant Prof Amit Sharma, delivered lecture on the “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture”.
During the workshop, Dr Hema Tripathi, Associate Director Extension; Dr R K Salgotra, Director IBT; Dr Sudhakar Dwivedi, DSW; Prof Vikas Sharma, Head & Coordinator, NAHEP-IDP; Prof Manish Sharma, Prof A P Singh and other faculty members and students of the university were present.
