JAMMU, Sept 18: Taking cognizance of ‘incorrect’ furnishing of information about stay and vacancy positions which led to some premature transfers of Lecturers during the recent online Transfer Drive 2023, School Education Department has sought explanation from both the Directorates of School Education (Jammu/Kashmir).
According to an order in this regard, both the Directors of School Education have been asked to seek explanation from the concerned and forward the reply to the Administrative Department within three days.
“…Various representations regarding premature transfers have been received by the Department. The same has been examined and it has been found that wrong stay positions of many Lecturers were furnished which has put the Department to a great embarrassment,” reads the orders number EDU-GAZ/90/2023, seeking explanation from the concerned.
Pertinent to mention that transfer orders of Lecturers were issued vide various Government orders in the recent online Transfer Drive 2023.
Both the Directors as well as the Secretary School Education could not be contacted for their account.
