JAMMU, Aug 25: Sunil Prajapati, president BJP OBC Morcha and member Election Management Committee of the party addressed party workers at BJP office Trikuta Nagar today and advised them to make every effort to reach the people of the OBC community and the general public as well in all the constituencies and highlight the dedicated efforts undertaken by the Modi Government to ensure justice and upliftment of poor people.
He also explained the necessary steps undertaken by Modi Government towards implementation of OBC reservation first time in J&K and other betterment steps for the OBC category people such as reservation in Panchayats and Urban Local Body elections and enhancement of reservation to OBCs from 2% to 8%. The meeting was attended by Braham Jyot Satti (Prabhari OBC Morcha), Suresh Salgotra (vice president OBC Morcha), Ravi Mehra (vice president Morcha), Ram Pal (district president Jammu South), Ashok Salgotra (district president Jammu) and others State office bearers, district office bearers and Mandal office bearers.
Prajapati asked the team members to hold door-to-door campaigns in their respective constituencies and distribute the pamphlets containing the reference of achievements undertaken by the Modi Government in J&K UT to make the people aware of the welfare schemes for the poor people and the OBC category as well as the developments undertaken by the Modi Government in J&K after abrogation of Article 370.
He also threw light on the welfare schemes, startup mission for youths, and various projects of roads and railways undertaken by the Modi Government in J&K UT during the past few years. He stressed that the meetings should be organized constantly including small meetings like Nukkar and Mohalla meetings. He also desired that the election meeting be organized from the lower level to the constituency level and ensure that our teams reached everyone and conveyed to them the achievements and development done by Modi Government in J&K.
