JAMMU, May 23: Ex-Central Armed Police Forces Paramilitary Welfare Association (Ex-CAPFPWA) Punjab and J&K here today organized a joint meeting. Association Jalandhar president, P.S Sandhu; president J&K Shashi Sharma; general secretary, D.K Chauhan and all members of the Association participated in the meeting and highlighted the demands of CPMF.
They urged upon the Union Government to extend all post-retirement benefits to Ex-CAPF personnel at par with personnel of defense forces.
“Paramilitary forces fight, face enemy and sacrifice lives with the same vigour, valor and patriotism and suffer consequences like personnel of defense forces but the benefits and concession extended to Defence Forces under MOD are not being extended to Armed Forces under MHA which is against the law and the ethics of natural justice,” Shashi Sharma said.
