JAMMU, Nov 29: R K Kalsotra, State president, All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations, called on Director Social Welfare, Jammu Dr Bharat Bhushan and apprised him about the complaints receiving from students belonging to hilly areas not only from Jammu but also from Srinagar that on-line systems for submission of Scholarship of SC/ST/OBC along with other various categories is under error and students are facing difficulties for submission of forms through online mode.
Kalsotra requested the Director that as the last date of submission of forms is November 30, 2018 and majority of students due to faulty online system have not applied yet, the last date for submission of the forms be extended and all the respective departments be instructed to make provisions for receiving applications manually also.
The Director assured to take timely action.
