JAMMU, Apr 30: Claiming the situation very alarming, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has demanded extension of the ongoing lockdown for one month.
In a press conference here today JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple said, COVID-19 pandemic is spreading very fast and many innocent people are falling prey to it.
He said, though the PM Modi and J&K LG, Manoj Sinha had announced vaccination for people within the age group of 18 to 45 years from May 1, yet the authorities in J&K are announcing this vaccination after May 20 stating shortage of vaccines.
The JWAM leader demanded free ration and electricity for poor people and waiving off of banks interests on loans of traders and transporters during the lockdown period.
