Extension lecture on entrepreneurship, Indian knowledge system held at CUJ

JAMMU, Sep 17: Department of English, School of Humanities and Liberal Arts, Cluster University of Jammu (CUJ), organized an extended lecture on the topic “Entrepreneurship, Academics and Indian Knowledge System”.
The lecture was delivered by Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, Director I/C, Centre for Comparative Religions and Civilizations, Central University of Jammu.
Dr Banpreet Kour extended a formal welcome to him, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship and innovative educational methods within the education system.
Dr Ajay Kumar Singh shared his insights with students, shedding light on entrepreneurship and the historical integration of business education and agricultural practices in India. He introduced the significance of implementing new techniques in the fields of science and technology, with a particular emphasis on organic cultivation.
The lecture was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr Reena Salaria, Coordinator of Linguistics and Literature, and Dr Kuldeep Raina, Head of the Department of Music at Government MAM College.
Dr Jeet Singh acknowledged the contributions of all the speakers, emphasizing the profound impact of the lecture. He expressed heartfelt appreciation for their presence and engagement, highlighting the importance of their collective efforts in making the event a resounding success.
The event was coordinated by Dr Indu Sharma, Dr Sujata Thakur, and Dr Himanshi Vashishat, while the program was hosted by Shiwali Sharma, a student from PGI English. The lecture was concluded by interactive session of key note speaker with students, in which they exchanged their ideas.
