JAMMU, Nov 10: An extension lecture on voice culture was organized today here at Government College for Women (GCW), Parade.
The lecture was organized by Department of Music of the College. An eminent vocalist and formal station director of Radio Kashmir, Jammu, VK Sambyal, was the resource person.
Sambyal deliberated upon the importance of voice modulation, which is the most important aspect of music. He asked the students to follow this aspect of music as a beginner and throughout their music practice. He demonstrated the concept through practical presentation.
Students of the music department actively participated in the programme and interacted with the resource person. Principal of the College, Dr Hemla Aggarwal, was also present on the occasion.
